Dramatic Drama Program
What’s It All About?
The Dramatic Drama Program is a fantastic medium for children to learn to express themselves in a positive and nurturing way. Students work with either pre fabricated scripts or make up a script themselves and put on a performance of their story in costume and with props.
How Is The Dramatic Drama Program Taught?
The format involves group tuition of up to approximately 10 students in a weekly 45 minute lesson, involving one tutor. Students work together to learn how to express various characterisations and interactions within their script with stage craft relevant to projection, articulation and presentation. Students learn about scene requirements, memorising of parts and physical expression and timing in a way that is inspiring and builds confidence and independence.
How Much Does It Cost?
Group lessons for 2017 cost $10 per lesson. Fees are payable on Invoice and may be made by Cash, Cheque or Money Order either by mail or directly to the Instrumental Teacher or via the Internet – information required for this appears on the invoice. All tutors are obliged to give the number of lessons your child has been invoiced for. The exception to this rule is when a child is absent from school on extended holidays or a lengthy illness. Should these exceptions apply to you, please contact the CVM office and an adjustment will be made. Please note that CVM is not obliged to make up lessons missed due to general illness but will endeavour to do so as much as possible. Invoices MUST be paid within the 14 day period so as to maintain a secured place for your child. Should professional collection be required, additional collection fees will be applied at the expense of the enrolling parent.
