About Crystal Valley Music

Established in 2011, Crystal Valley Music is a family owned and run business. Originating as an instrumental, vocal and performing arts teaching service, the CVM store was opened in May 2014 to cater to the needs of the town as the only music store available in the area. The store is located at 110 Murphy Street, Wangaratta and offers a range of services including instrumental repairs, hire instruments, and music and performing arts tuition programs in schools and at the store as well as general sales of all music related products. CVM is an Ibanez and Casio dealer and has access to over 120 wholesale businesses including AMS and Australis.

David Muir runs the Crystal Valley Music store which opens at 8.00am with espresso ready to go for those who require a coffee stop on their way to work. Instruments of all kinds are on display and what we don’t have, David can order in within the week. He has extensive knowledge of all music related products.

Céline Muir is the Teaching Director at CVM. She is a highly qualified and experienced teacher of nearly 20 years in classroom music and vocal, instrumental and drama programs. She organises group lessons for students in interested schools providing demonstrations, timetables around specialist programs, teachers and participation from students at school functions where required. Céline tries to collaborate with CVM students from all participating schools with public performances. She organises teacher workshops for teachers working at the CVM teaching rooms and runs the drama and music theatre side of the Dance and Performing Arts Programs.
